about the law firm

Our law firm has been providing legal services since 2006 and in its current legal form – it has been on the market since 2010. Our Warsaw office employs mainly advocates, attorneys-at-law, and legal advisers, all with many years of experience in the areas for which they are responsible.

We place great emphasis on specialisation and teamwork, as well as quality control of our services. We go to great lengths to get to know our clients and the nature of their business so that we can offer them long-term and sustainable solutions that are consistent with the characteristics and structure of their organisation.

Each of our Clients is assigned an account manager who knows the specificity of the serviced entity, which allows us to create solutions tailored to the Client’s needs. It also helps to develop rapport and to avoid situations where the Client has to explain the same thing over and over again. This solution also allows us to educate the Clients, to keep track of legal changes and react before a problem arises.

Co-founder and Managing Partner at Kancelaria Prawna Nowicki & Ziemczyk Sp. P. from the very beginning. He specialises in issues related to labour law and broadly-understood civil and commercial law.

He supports the law firm’s clients drawing from his expert knowledge and many years of experience, offering expert advice in the most complex legal problems concerning, among others, commercial transactions, employment restructuring, bullying at work, or ownership structure transformations. He also represents clients in commercial and labour litigations. He completed his judicial apprenticeship at the Regional Court in Warsaw.

At the law firm, he heads the Corporate Team, supporting clients with his expertise in, among other things, corporate transformations, M&A transactions, proceedings before the NAC and while providing comprehensive services for businesses, including in the area of commercial litigation.

He specialises in civil law, commercial law and civil procedure. He gained his professional experience while working for Warsaw-based law firms. He graduated from the Warsaw University.

At the law firm, she is the leader of the labour law team. She specialises in labour law matters and issues related to employing foreigners. She has many years of experience in providing comprehensive services to businesses in the area of labour law. In her daily work, she works with HR departments to support their day-to-day work, holds training sessions for managers and HR departments, and drafts internal rules and regulations in the areas governed by labour law.

She graduated from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She also completed post-graduate non- degree studies in human resources management held at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. She graduated with honours from the training programme for attorneys-at-law run by the Warsaw Bar Council of Attorneys-at-Law. She gained her professional experience while working for Warsaw-based law firms specialising in civil law and labour law.

Her professional interests focus on commercial law. She supports the law firm’s clients in commercial contracting processes, corporate transformation processes and also represents clients in commercial litigation.

She gained her professional experience while working for Warsaw-based law firms. She was also a social activist for the Warsaw’s Legal Advice Centre. She graduated from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

He specialises in labour law, social security law and employee taxation. He is particularly interested in issues relating to acquisitions and mergers of employers, bonus and incentive systems, termination of employment contracts and forms of employment regulated in civil law. He represents employers in litigation in all areas related to HR and also advises in the event of inspections by the Public Labour Inspectorate or Social Security Institution.

He has gained his professional experience by working for Warsaw-based law firms specialising in labour law as well as for the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. He graduated from the Warsaw University and is a co-author of professional publications such as “Labour Law for Judges and Attorneys” and “Labour Law. Questions. Case studies. Charts. Tests”.

Her professional interests are focused on widely-understood commercial law, in particular companies law. She supports the law firm’s clients in corporate transformations and commercial disputes.

She has experience in registration and trademark litigation. She gained her first professional experience while working for Wrocław-based law firms specialising in providing comprehensive services to businesses and institutions. She graduated from the University of Wrocław.

Her professional interests are focused in particular on the laws of new technologies (especially IT), copyright law and personal data protection topics. She supports the law firm’s clients in the comprehensive implementation of procedures related to the protection of personal data and provides training in this area.

She has many years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts related to the transfer of copyright. She has gained professional experience at Warsaw-based law firms and by working for the public administration. She graduated from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She also completed post-graduate non-degree studies in Law of Modern Technologies at the Kozminski University in Warsaw.

She specialises in labour law matters. She has a particular interest in individual employment law issues and legal assistance services in the area of HR law in the broadest sense of the term. She also supports our clients with in the area of legislative changes.

Dominika gained experience in Warsaw-based law firms specialising in labour law and public affairs. She graduated in law at the Jagiellonian University and she holds a degree in “law and business management” from the Kozminski University. She also completed the American Law Studies. She is currently doing her advocate training at the Regional Bar Council of Advocates in Warsaw and has started post-graduate non-degree studies in labour law at the University of Warsaw.

Attorney-at-law with many years of experience and extensive expertise in the area of real estate law. He supports the law firm’s clients in the most complex matters and also represents them in disputes related to bankruptcy, insolvency and civil proceedings. He completed his judicial apprenticeship at the Regional Court in Warsaw.

He has been with the law firm since the day it was established. He specialises in matters related to civil and commercial law.

He is a tax adviser with many years of experience. He specialises in issues related to the taxation of personal income, including work income earned in Poland and abroad, monetary capital, business activities of individuals, income from real properties and the taxation of inheritance and gift income and interpreting double taxation treaties.

He carries out tax reviews and holds training courses. He authored a number of publications on personal income tax and social security for specialist press and he was a speaker at many tax training courses.

He is a tax adviser, who gained his professional experience working at an international law firm in the tax division in the the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) department, as well as at a consulting firm, being a part of corporate restructuring team. He graduated in law from the University of Warsaw and in finance and accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Rafał provides tax advisory services and assists in setting up efficient tax structures, analyses possible tax preferences and develops tax strategies.
